You equip students to solve complex problems and make enduring contributions to global culture.

Opportunities provided via the RISD Fund—from internships to materials funding, travel opportunities, scholarships and more, enable students to design for the future and make works of art for international audiences.

An arm pointing to a modeled design grid

You advance art and design education and create disciplinary breakthroughs.

When you support the RISD Fund, you ensure students can focus on experimenting and pushing boundaries in the studio. As a result, they develop “smart” textiles, new forms of visual expression, buildings and infrastructure that use biomimicry to address climate change and much more.

You invigorate a learning community like no other, whose contributions move the world.

The RISD Fund supports programming and curricular innovations that deepen students’ ability to engage not just how but why they make something. You help create ethical, socially engaged artists and designers.
